NOVAGUARD: Sky Defense

NOVAGUARD is a one-finger air-defense game. You tap the sky and a battery detonates an interceptor there while meteors, swarms, armored targets, and mines fall toward the city.

A kill inside an explosion sets off another blast, so one well-placed shot can clear a cluster. Hold to charge a larger blast.

There are six sectors and six bosses. The page says to hit the exposed core, then the vents when they open, and to chain a kill inside the shield. Bosses range from a spined warship to a horned leviathan.

When the overcharge bar is full, drag across the sky to raise the Barrier. Anything that reaches the city is a failed defense, so chain shots before the wave lands.

Between runs you upgrade batteries and pick sector modules. There is also a daily challenge shared by every player, weekly contracts, and a share card for your best chain. It plays in the browser on desktop and mobile.
